Hi all
Tonight I am posting pictures of a Flip Flop Album...Wednesday Feb22 is the registration deadline for this coming Sunday's stampin session (Feb 26 2PM) where we will be making a Flip Flop Album. We will be using different papers/colors.
When you open up the flaps to either side, you see
The green flap opens to the right and gives you another combo like the one you see on the left.
The zig zag paper is inside the green flap.
There are so many surfaces for your pictures and journaling.
This album is a great shower gift - wedding, baby, engagement. It is really suited to a special occasion a "big" birthday or s special trip. I like to make them as gifts - of course, I don't do the pictures and journaling but I do give them some details where they can add the journaling. We will be making some details in the class. Let me know if you want to be there!!

Valentine Shadow box, version 2
Hi all
What a day! I was looking forward to a slow paced day off but Dave has finished painting the living room so it was time to move everything out of the dining room ....how exhausting! Everything had to be boxed. I had gotten Dave to collect some empty wine bottle boxes from the liquor store so I was able to drop glassware into the slots in the boxes...wow did that speed up the process! But still had all the plates and knick knacks to box and move. Lots of bending down and walking back and forth! It was so tempting to really examine everything to decide what can be given away but I know myself well enough to know that would have slowed me down alot. So I boxed and moved everything and only trashed the obvious. I will check out the details on the unpack end. I am actually looking forward to washing everything when it is time to unpack. It should look great! When I was finished, Dave jumped right in and started his meticulous wall repairs.
Today I want to show you one of the alternatives to the Valentine Shadow box. When I repeated the session on Sunday, I had to use the 8 hole boxes so one of the long designs had to be changed. Here is what we did in the center top spot....
I really like the teacup... so nice!

Valentine Shadow box
Hi all
Tonight I want to show you ONE of the versions of the Valentine Shadow Box we made at class and that some of my friends bought as a kit.
Because I made this project as a kit, I avoided using stamped images and instead included punched images. A few of the items (Cupid and XO) are made of felt. The background of each section is the Twitterpated fabric from Stampin' Up! which was attached to the box using Tombow multipurpose glue. In the past I have used both designer paper and fabric and I prefer the fabric.
Some of the folks got red glitter paper Cupids when I ran out of felt Cupids. The folks who came to class had another version of the box. My husband and I were searching high and low for the base boxes and though we found a good number of boxes, they were not identical. The kit folks got boxes that had 7 openings. When I went to prep the materials for the class, I found I did not have enough of those boxes to cover everyone who had signed up, so I modified the design and gave them boxes that had 8 openings. You may recall that the Christmas boxes had 9 openings. Variety is the spice of life!!
I am hoping to find more boxes so that I can design a Easter box too.

Get well project #8
Hi all
Had an interesting Valentine's Evening. We don't like to go out for fancy dinners when the whole world is doing so too, so we had not planned to have a fancy dinner tonight, but we did eat out. Came home to a poor puppy who is still slinking about after getting several shots yesterday - he seems to be uncomfortable and it has definitely quieted his demeanor. But then the excitement began. We had a toilet over flow - quite a bit. Unfortunately, it was the upstairs bathroom and the water followed the duct work of the house and ended up flooding my stamp area a bit. We handled that...and then an hour or so later, I found it had also flooded in my storage closet. I am so done with this excitement!
Tonight I wanted to share the last Get Well project with you. The get well cup was my favorite project, but this card is my favorite card from that class.
It was inspired by a project made by Lisa Young - mostly I used her layout. Hope you are inspired by it too.
Reminder: Wed the 15th is the deadline to sign up for my next stampin session.

Get well project #7
Hi all
Today I have a simple little card for you --- this is only 3" x 3".
Notice that the card has no stampin'......this is made using ribbon and a punched trim....a great way to use those small left over pieces that you don't want to throw away.
My next post will be the last project from the get well class.

Get well project #6
Hi all
TGIF!!! love the weekends!!
Today I have another card for you......could be used for several different occasions.
This is such a lovely, simple card. I found it (or something similar) on Dawn Olchefske's website. I used the postage stamp punch on the Everyday Enchantment designer series paper, carefully fitting the squares in a vertical line from top to bottom. I folded the peach parfait poly ribbon into thirds (with a smidge
hanging out each end of the stack) and the decorative brad was used to hold it in place. "Hello" from Elementary Elegance set was stamped in Lucky Limeade ink. The folded white cardstock is layered on pool party cardstock and peach parfait cardstock. This paper, brad, cardstock and stamp set are available for free from Stmapn'Up! with your $50 purchase during SAB.

Get well project #5
Hi all
Tonight I have another card for you. This is a small 3" x 3" card, meant to go with the kind get well gift you send to your sick friend or loved one.
Of course, this little card, would work for any occasion - just change the greeting. Do you like the textured cover of the card...love it! It is such fun to use the textured impressions folders and my Big Shot. Sweet little stamped image in the corner of the envelope, too.....and I only used one stamp pad!
