Hello ...hello...hello?

Hi all
Today I thought I would post a card I made for my husband.  It uses the phone booth stamp from the free SAB stamp set called Feeling Sentimental.  Usually this style of image doesn't appeal to me so much but for some reason, I am very fond of this set.
Can you tell that the base layer is Island Indigo and it has been dry empressed with the honeycomb TEIF (textured impressions embossing folder) and the Big Shot?  The layer on that was dry empressed with the clouds TEIF and then the Riding Hood Red layer is on that.  The stamped layer was treated with the distressing tool to rough up the edges. I  felt inclined to have the doors open up to show the inside so
I slit the front edge of the phone booth with a craft knife and added tiny little brads as knobs for the doors.

Inside the doors is a birthday greeting from the It's a Wrap Occasions stamp set.

Of course there needed to be a greeting inside and I chose to use both the Indigo and the Riding Hood Red on that.
If you enjoy this image as much as I do, remember that you can get this stamp set of three images (bicycle, phone booth, and ferris wheel) and a greeting ("Celebrate") FREE with your $50 (subtotal) purchase between now and March 22.  Don't delay!  You can place your order on my Stampin Up website or contact me by phone (410-256-6772) or email (david.outen@verizon.net).
Or better yet, hostess a Stampin' Up! workshop by gathering your friends together at your home, mine, or at your office for some stress-reducing fun.  Then you will earn additional shopping rewards from our big catalog, the mini catalog, or the SAB brochure.
Are you one of the group of people that visits my site frequently for a peek at my ideas?  I'm so glad you stop to visit.  Whether you come often or are here for the first time, please consider leaving a comment telling me what you liked or what you want to see in the future.  It can feel like shouting into the darkness when there is no reply from the other side.......
Peggy
