Hi all
Today I want to show you my interpretation of a card made by Lee Ann Greff. The Paisley Petal DSP reminds me of Williamsburg; regal colors. With that in mind, I went with the Bravo Burgundy and threw in the neutral river rock and popped it out with the retired color, Barely Banana. I love it.
There is lots of dimension in this card with the multiple layers and the impressed tulips around the edges. Nice!

Happy Birthday #3 of 8
Hi Stampers!
Even if you are not a seamstress, using the luscious Stampin Up! fabric is such fun!
My sewing machine is buried in my garage...but I turned to my Big Shot to make use of the Twitterpated fabric for this card. I put a stiffener behind the fabric before I die cut it with my Big Shot. The fabric button is perfect on this card and the color is echoed in the pleated ribbon. This card is tweaked from one made by Mary Brown, a wonderful stamper whose work always catches my eye!!

Happy Birthday #2 of 8
Hi all
The Pool Party color is such a fresh look ...love it!!!!
This card was inspired by some I had seen on the internet. It is such a simple design to have the vertical lines of the card expressed through the border on the left, the ribbon, the repeating design in the middle and the border trim on the right. Because of these vertical lines, I chose to use an oval in the bottom right corner for the greeting. Fun!!

birthday cards #1 of 8
Well, I am a bit behind in my posting so I am going back to March to begin to show you my Happy Birthday projects. Hope you are inspired!!
The first project is a variation of MANY cards that have been posted on blogs. I think the blushing bride and pear pizzazz combination is yummy! The coloring was done with the aqua painter, such a great way to accomplish watercoloring! Have you tried it?
This card uses the Apothecary Art stamp set is from the current mini catalog which expires at the end of April. It makes fabulous cards, especially when you pair it with the Label Collection Framelits and Big Shot. SOOO easy to use. Hope Stampin' Up! comes up with another set of Framelits that are staggered with the ones in this set for tighter layers. I always find the Textured Impressions Elegant Lines Folders add such an element of class to any card.

St Patick's Day treat
Hi all
Well spring break is flying by - not a big vacation time for me but I am getting important things done and peppering each day with visits with good friends...my favorite way to spend vacation. Had a yummy lunch yesterday with two lovely ladies. Hi, Peggy and Terry!! Enjoyed our visit... even if Friday's wished that we had not stayed so long. Terry even did a little paper crafting while there! See that, you can do it anywhere! Come to think of it, that lunch lasted REALLY long as I ate the left overs today for lunch!! Yummy AGAIN! Thank you Terry for treating us...so sweet! Your company really was treat enough.
Here is the St Patrick's Day treat I made for my coworkers at my two schools - also gave some to my book club ladies and to the ladies at the retreat we did on Saturday.
Wanted to mention that my book club graciously accepted my recommendation to read (or re-read) A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. Wonderful book....Such a lovely story even though it was about a desperately poor Irish family scraping by in the early 1900's. Read it!! Thanks to the club ladies for helping me "lead" the discussion.

Hi all
Final easter project ...it is a quickie!
I love to give holiday treats...this is an easy way to give out easter goodies. Try it! The basket is made from a square scallop die cut and the handle was punched with the lace border punch. Need specific details, contact me.
