Folded note and gift card

Hi al
Today I want to share with you a cute double fold card that was tweaked from my upline, Sandy.  Much of my card is exactly like hers, but I did make a few minor changes, particularly on the inside.

Can you see that there are two lines of dry embossing using the texture impressions heart folder and the Big Shot (of course!)?  One is on the top flap and the other is across the bottom flap.
This cardstock is Island Indigo and the Pool Party ribbon is from the Saleabration (SAB) rewards program that is still going on now.  I love how Pool Party goes with Island Indigo!  It is probably my current favorite combo of colors.   There is a 2" hole punched at the top crease of the card and the Pool Party scalloped circle is attached to the back of the bottom section of the card so it sticks up through the hole.  A small strip of Designer Paper was attached to the front of the bottom flap of the card, just under the scallop punched edge - the DSP helps set off that scalloped edge.

When you open the two flaps you can see where the ribbon wrapped around the top flap, just beyond the hole and you can also see the back of the scalloped circle at the bottom of the card.  I added another strip of Pool Party cardstock to the center of the card so you wouldn't have to write on dark paper.  After 19 years working with the blind and visually impaired, I have a lot of respect for the factor of color contrast.  It is easier to write on lighter paper with blue or black ink.  Our white gel pen would work on the darker paper but not everyone has our pen (yet!).  Then I added one of our die cut envelopes to the bottom segment of the card so you could insert a gift card inside.  Fun, huh?
Contact me if I can help you input your Saleabration rewards order.  Don't delay, the program ends in a few short weeks.  This is the best time of year to replenish your supply of cardstock and inks...and earn a free gift at the same time.
Thanks, Madge for passing my name and contact info along to Patti.  I very much appreciate your confidence in me.
Hope to see yo'al soon at a class or workshop (here or in your home or work place).  You say your can buy now?   Hostess a workshop and let your friends help you earn hostess and SAB rewards.
Peggy
