Valentine treat

Hi all
You have been patient with me as I have been distracted by super bowl (Whoo Hoo, Ravens!!), progress reports, and the day to day issues of life!!  Sooo today I am sharing a multifaceted project we made at one of the Valentine classes.
This is the covered top of the note holder block.  An organdy ribbon is tied around the bottom of the metal piece that holds the note for you.   Thanks to Logan for suggesting we add the ribbon...just the right touch!
The block has four different sides that are all decorated differently.  Check it out....
The DSP used to cover the box on all four sides is Twitterpated.  We stamped "You are" and "Fabulous" and the frame using Riding Hood Red and Island Indigo ink and we cut out the two using Framelits.

Next, we used a window framelit of textured, island indigo cardstock and layered the wings, heart and banner on top.  This picture also shows you a good view of the metal note holder.
The third side says "Sweet Friend"  in Riding Hood Red ink and the fleur de lis is in Regal Rose ink and that is all layered on the Ricing Hood Red cardstock.

Finally the last face of the box shows the greeting from "You are Loved".  I had the gals use white embossing powder on the Island Indigo cardstock - it is meant to me a step off the chalkboard craze in stamping.  Black just wouldn't have fit here but the Island Indigo is perfect.
Hope it has inspired you to make a sweet project for your valentine!!  And that  you are checking out the wonderful Stampin' Up! specials on my Stampin' Up! blog
