In honor of women class project #5

Hi all
I am pleased to show you a pretty little card today..hope you like it!!

Can you tell that these flowers are made from the owl punch?  How cool is that?!?!  I saw a similar card on a website - I neglected to write down the ladies name, for that, I apologize.  Unfortunately, she did not have a watermark so I don't know whose work it is. If it is yours, e-me so I can add your name.  Anyway...she used red owls for her flowers.  Great idea!!   I made my flowers tone on tone by using two colors (pink pirouette in front and pretty in pink in back).  I wanted a curvier look than she had so instead of using straight stems, I whipped out my old tulipe die and cut one out of old olive cardstock.  Then I cut the two sides of the diecut apart so I could manipulate the two parts to the angle I wanted - that allowed me to catch the bottom of the tag in the curls.  Oh..and I stamped the tag with the Four Frames stamp set.  The "Because I care" came from the set of that name.  The ladies card was a bit fancier because when I cut the Ice Cream Parlor SAB DSP, I gave them the part of the page that had the sweet little border - I used up all the bordered papers on the ladies.  I may go back and add a little trim at the bottom.
Think I'll do it now...hold on....

So do you think this is better?  I do!!

Either one is wonderful but yes, the trim does doll it up a bit! Very pretty colors and love the curvy 'leaves'...!
